CCSO Conducts Operation Triple Threat
The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office has conducted “Operation Triple Threat”. Thursday, February 2, the Cocke County Sheriff’s office along with assistance from the Newport Police Department, DEA, and the Joint Swat team from Jefferson County served two narcotic search warrants on properties in Cocke County. Those properties are 1245 and 1253 Fox Chase Road and another residence at 1500 Hill Road. The search warrants were executed after undercover narcotics officers purchased fentanyl, crack cocaine, heroin, and another controlled substance from those addresses. All locations were hit at the same time by the joint task force. Arrested during those raids were three individuals, 27 year old Aspen Denton, 49 year old Monica Denton and 30 year old Dior Nathan. All total they are charged with 8 counts sale & delivery of heroin; 13 counts of sale and delivery of fentanyl; sale and delivery of schedule 4 narcotics; sale and delivery of oxymorphone; and sale and delivery of cocaine.
Afterwards, on orders from the District Attorney’s office and Cocke County Circuit Court, the two homes on Fox Chase Road were padlocked. Sheriff CJ Ball says anyone found on those properties will be arrested. Bond for Aspen Denton was set at $120,000, Monica Denton’s bond was set at $50,000 and Dior Natahn’s bond is $70,000. Sheriff Ball says “Operation Triple Threat” is a continuation of the “Friday The 13th” investigation where eleven people were arrested in January.
