Police Respond To Vehicle Theft

Police responded to the Holiday Inn Express on Cosby Hwy in Newport about a vehicle theft. The victim stated he works at the Holiday Inn and his vehicle had been parked out back. He stated it was there at 11:30 Sunday morning, but when he looked at noon, it was gone. The vehicle was valued at $3,000 but also contained about $600 worth of power tools and equipment. The vehicle is a black 1998 Volvo. Police have posted a picture of that vehicle on their Facebook page. There are no suspects.
