Cocke County Has Land For Lease

The Cocke County Mayor’s office has some land for lease. The Cocke County Government is now accepting sealed bids for the lease of a piece of farmable property located in the Cocke County Industrial Park on Industrial Road. The USDA Farm Service Agency calculates that the property contains approximately 19 acres. This property was formerly known as the Jack Farm.

Anyone interested can pick up a bid packet at the Cocke County Mayor’s Office, Suite 146, in the Cocke County Annex building in Newport. All bids must be submitted no later than 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 12th. The bids will be opened and tabulated at that time. No other bids submitted after April 12th at 1pm will be considered. Cocke County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid to be in the best interest of the Cocke County Government.
