Metro Nashville Police Find Manifesto Of School Shooter
Police in Nashville are piecing together a motive for why a 28 year old transgender female walked into her former school Monday morning and started shooting both children and adults. Police say that Audrey Hale had drawn maps and elaborately planned the shooting. Hale was killed when confronted by police on the second floor of the Covenant Presbyterian School in the Green Hills area of Nashville. Hale was carrying two assault style rifles and a handgun when she was shot by police at approx. 10:27am…about 14 minutes after the call came in about an active shooter.
The names of the victims were released late Monday. They are three nine year old children…Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney. Three adults were also killed, they are 60 year old Katherine Koonce and 61 year olds Cynthia Peak and Mike Hill.
Metro Nashville police are working on a theory as to why Audrey Hale went on a shooting rampage at the school as they have found a manifesto, and have some writings they are going over that pertain to Monday’s date and the actual incident. They will not release those details till they have more proof of that theory. They have said that Hale gained entry into the school by firing into glass doors on the building, shattering them.
