Tractor Supply Alarm Electrical Box Damaged

Newport police were notified Tuesday night of an alarm at Tractor Supply in the Western Plaza shopping center. The alarm notification came in shortly before 11pm, officers quickly noticed damage to the outside alarm electrical box. An employee of Tractor Supply came on scene and stated that some of the outside merchandise had been moved around. There was no camera footage that could be viewed at the time by the Tractor Supply system or the cameras at the Food City West gas station. The damage to the alarm electrical box is estimated to be around $1,000. There are no suspects at this time.
