Storage Unit Break-Ins
Police are investigating the break-in of units at Everything Storage on Cope Blvd in Newport. Sandy Trivett told police that she had found the padlock had been cut on her storage unit. She stated that some jewelry, clothing and jewelry boxes, along with paperwork were missing from the unit. Fred Pack Jr. told police that his unit has been broken into as well. A pressure washer and numerous power tools were missing out of his unit…he estimated the cost of the items stolen from his unit to be in the $4200 range.
This marks the second storage unit facility to e broken into in Newport in the last few days as Newport Storage on West roadway had units broken into over the weekend.
