Two Decades In Prison For East Tennessee Man
An East Tennessee man will be spending more than two decades in prison for distributing methamphetamine. On Monday in US district Court in Greeneville, 47 year old Joshua Dwayne Mabery of Erwin, was sentenced to 262 months in federal prison…that’s nearly 22 years. Mabery had been convicted back in late March for conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, and possession of meth with intent to distribute. Mabery had recently been released from prison on a separate meth distribution charge, when he and a co-conspirator were arrested in Washington County, Tennessee, in February of 2021 as they returned from Knoxville with over a half a kilo of crystal methamphetamine they had just purchased from another co-conspirator.
