TN Valley Fair Kicks Off Friday

The Tennessee Valley Fair kicks off tomorrow in Knoxville. Southern rock group .38 Special kicks off the concert events at this years’ fair on Friday night September 8. Others appearing at the fair this year include Travis Tritt on Tuesday September 12 and new artist Corey Kent with Dillon Carmichael on Sunday September 17. And…if you want to take a trip back to your disco days in the late 70’s…KC and The Sunshine Band are performing at the fair this Sunday, September 10. Tickets for all those shows are on sale at tnvalleyfair.org. Concert tickets are seperate from the cost of admission to the fair. Fireworks are on display every night of the fair at 10:30pm. That’s an annual event that has taken place every year since the fair began in 1916. The Tennessee Valley Fair runs from Friday September 8 through Sunday September 17.
