Tennessee Taking On Florida For Blood Donations

Tennessee takes on Florida on the gridiron this Saturday. But, Tennessee is also taking on Florida in another competition…blood donations. This week is the annual Tennessee vs Florida blood drive where Medic Regional Blood Center is taking on LifeSouth in Gainesville, Florida for the most blood donations this week. The annual competition allows both blood centers to have fun celebrating SEC football and stabilize the blood supply in the process. The center that collects the highest number of red blood cell products at the end of this week will be the winner! Donors this week Donors will receive a special edition t-shirt (while supplies last) and coupons from Texas Roadhouse, Salsarita’s, Petro’s Smoothie King, Dunkin, and Papa John’s. Your chance to help push Tennessee to victory comes tomorrow as the Mobile Blood Center will be at Priceless Foods in Newport Wednesday from 10-6.
