UT Moves Up Two Spots In AP Poll
With a win Saturday against Texas A&M, Tennessee has moved up further in the latest poll. The Vols moved from 19 to 17 in the AP Poll. They are ranked 15th in the Coaches’ poll. The Vols struggled against a swarming Texas A&M defense, but it was an interception by the Vols that stopped a last second drive by the Aggies.
Six SEC teams are in the top 25…Georgia of course is at #1. Alabama still sits at #11; Ole Miss stays at #13; The Vols are next at 17; LSU is at #19 and Missouri is next at #20. Florida and Kentucky both received votes for the top 25.
Tennessee travels to Tuscaloosa this weekend to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the biggest test Tennessee has faced this year. That game will kickoff at 3:30 Saturday and will be televised on CBS.
