Second Former Lady Vols Dies Of Cancer
For the second time in less than four months, breast cancer has claimed the life of another former Tennessee Lady Vol. Tasha Butts died on Monday after a two year battle with the disease. Butts was a star on the Lady Vols teams from 2000-2004 and then played for a brief time in the WNBA. Butts coached at Georgia Tech for eight seasons before becoming the head coach of Georgetown. She had stepped away from the post last month to focus on her cancer battle. Tasha Butts was 41 years old.
