Low Bloos Pressure Leads To Possible Drug Charges
A man is facing marijuana charges because he had low blood pressure. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office says they were called to the home of 60 year old Jeffrey Johnson Sunday evening for a medical related issue. A deputy spotted Johnson slumped over on the couch, the doors were locked to the home. First responders forced their way through a back door to gain entry. EMS then evaluated Johnson and found his blood sugar was extremely low. They began treating Johnson who regained consciousness and denied medical transport.
While in the room, deputies spotted two trash bags that contained marijuana plus a baggie with 114 grams of marijuana. A tin cooking tray was also found with 10 rolled marijuana joints. Deputies confiscated all of the marijuana. Charges are now pending against Jeffrey Johnson.
