Search For Woman Wanted On Federal Warrant Leads To Drug Charges
Morristown Police assisted US Marshal’s Thursday in their search for a woman wanted on a federal violation of probation warrant. 37 year old for Chastine Waddell was found in a vehicle at her residence. With her was 21 year old Starlynn Brown. Officers noticed the odor of burnt marijuana inside the vehicle, so a search was conducted. During the search, narcotics officers found a bag in the backseat containing methamphetamine separated into three different bags. Also found in the bag were digital scales and other suspected drug paraphernalia, along with a small handgun with ammunition and over $2,000 in cash.
Chastine Waddell was arrested and charged with the federal warrant, plus Possession for sale/sale and delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Firearm Use in Association With a Dangerous Felonies, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia Uses & activities.
Starlynn Brown has been charged with Possession for sale/sale and delivery of Methamphetamine, Firearm Use in Association With Dangerous Felonies, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia Uses & Activities.
53 year old Jeannie Marshall, a person found inside the home is also being charged with possession of schedule II, IV and V drugs.
