Man Wanted On Felony Warrants Found In Closet

A tip coming into the Cocke County Sheriff’s offce led to the capture of a man with outstanding warrants. The tip lead deputies to a home on Wiley Town Road in their search for 41 year old Robert Webber, Jr. wanted on felony warrants. Webber refused to come to the front door and when deputies went to the back door, they heard the door lock. Deputies wound up making a forcful entry into the home. They found Webber hiding in a back bedroom closet. Webber had something in his mouth, which turned out being a small baggie containing 1.5 grams of heroin. He is now charged with possession of schedule I along with his warrants.
