Two Arrested On Warrants…One Faces Additional Charges

Two men were arrested in Cocke County last week that had warrants against them. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office had gone to the residence of 63 year old Scott Matney who had been indicted on a drug charge. Matney was taken into custody without incident. While on scene, deputies also found 48 year old Kenneth Ledford who was wanted for probation violation. Ledford was taken to jail as well. Inside the jail, officers discovered a piece of plastic that Ledford had placed in his back pocket. Inside that plastic was over 10 grams of heroin. He is now charged with introduction into a penal facility.
