Traffic Stop Lands Greene County Man In Jail
A Greene County man is in jail after a traffic stop Thursday. According to the Greene County Sherriff’s office, 21 year old Elijah Stoddard of Chuckey was pulled over for a traffic violation. During that stop a Greene County Deputy discovered over 400 pills that were believed to be pressed fentanyl. Drug paraphernalia and cash were also found. With probable cause, law enforcement then conducted a search of Stoddard’s residence where they found more illegal drugs and also firearms. Stoddard is now charged with two counts of Manufacture/Sell/Delivery and Possession of a Controlled substance; Maintaining a Dwelling for Use or Sale of a Controlled Substance; and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
His bond was set at $145,000.
