Man Blocks Traffic In Effort To Keep Ex From Leaving

A man was arrested after standing in the roadway blocking traffic in an effort to keep a woman from leaving. Jessica Grubb told police that she had broken up with her boyfriend Paul Schott and that she was in the process of filing an order of protection against him. But on Friday, she was driving on North Street when Schoptt ran out in front of her vehicle blocking her path. She stated that Schott then physically struck her vehicle demanding she roll down the windows and that he jumped on the hood of her car to prevent her from driving away. The incident blocked traffic on North Street until police arrived. 36 year old Paul Schott was arrested and charged with domestic assault and disorderly conduct.
