Cocke County Schools Presenting Kinderboost

The school season is winding down as it heads into its final month. However, if you have a child that will be heading to kindergarten this fall, a program is available that will make things easier for you and your child. It’s called KinderBoost and it helps kids and families with the transition of starting school. KinderBoost is a 10-day school readiness program enables children and families to become familiar with their new school, meet staff and teachers, and engage in early learning activities, plus it helps to establish a new routine. KinderBoost will take place Monday through Friday June 3rd through the 14th from 8am to 2pm each day at Edgemont and Cosby schools. The program is absolutely free and is being provided by Cocke County Schools and the organization Save the Children.
