Morristown Woman Charged With Murder

A Morristown woman is being charged with murder. Police were dispatched Monday afternoon just before 4:00 pm to High Street Apartments to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived and discovered 56-year-old Richard Wilburn deceased inside his residence from an apparent gunshot wound. The Morristown Police Department announced earlier today (Wednesday), Investigators have charged 35 year old Brittney Nicely of Morristown, with the homicide. Nicely is charged with second degree murder and is being held in the Hamblen County Jail. No further information has been released about this case at this time.
