Drug Bust In Sevier County Nets Over $40,000

A major drug bust on Tuesday in Sevier County. Sevier County Sheriff Michael Hodges says a team of undercover investigators known as NOVA-U is comprised of members of the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville Police Departments. On Tuesday NOVA-U executed a search warrant on a Sevier County residence where they confiscated 1/2 a kilo of cocaine, a handgun and over $43,000 in cash…money from proceeds of illegal drug sales.
