GoFundMe Page Set Up For Killed Lineman
The identity of the lineman with Appalchian Electric Cooperative that was killed Tuesday morning has now been released. 39 year old Nathan Potter of New Market was the worker that was electrocuted while on the job as crews were installing electrical service at a site in Grainger County. Potter was rushed to the Morristown Hamblen hospital but could not be saved.
According to friends and family, Nathan Potter had been working as a lineman for about 10 years and leaves behind a wife and three daughters, including a 4 month old. The events that led up to Nathan Potter’s death on the job Tuesday are under investigation by the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Adminsitration. TOSHA says their investigation could take up to six months to complete.
A gofund me page has been setup for assistance for Nathan Potter’s wife and three children. So far, over $48,000 has been raised for Krissy Potter and the three girls.
