Another Brush Fire In Sevier County

Sevier County firefighters were fighting another brush fire last night…this one in the Dudley Creek Rd. area of Gatlinburg. As of early yesterday evening that fire had consumed four acres. Two apartment buildings and a house had to be evacuated Wednesday evening. Those residents were able to return around 9:30 last night when that evacuation order was lifted. As of last night the fire was at 75% containment and the Gatlinburg Fire Department and the Tennessee Division of Property were continuing to battle that blaze. Dudley Creek Rd. is reopened to traffic this morning.
