Bomb Threat At White Pine Food City

Food City in White Pine was evacuated Sunday afternoon after a bomb threat was called in. The White Pine police department and bomb sniffing K-9’s were brought in to do a sweep of the store. Police did a full sweep of the building. No bomb was found and the store was reopened. White Pine was not the only Food City to receive the bomb threat. The Food City on Snapps Ferry Road in Greeneville also received a bomb threat. As in White Pine the store was evacuated and the store was reopened when no bomb was found.
