Bridge Repairs On Collier Drive In Sevier County

Just a traffic note to mention regarding Sevier county….especially if you use Collier Drive to get over to the parkway. Crews have begun a construction project where they are working on the bridge on the eastern part of Collier Drive near Veterans Parkway. Work started on Tuesday and will continue for the next month. There will be lane closures and lane shifts as crews close half of the bridge during this construction. With the amount of traffic especially at this time of year, drivers will probably experience delays in that area of Collier Drive. Law Enforcement officials with Sevier County urge drivers to use caution going through that area. The construction is expected to be completed by around August 20th.
