Bybee Man Accused Of Theft Of Services
A Bybee man is being accused of theft of services after a woman claims she paid him for work that has never been done. Delica Crapps of Philadelphia, Mississippi told the Cocke County Sheriff’s office that she paid 49 year old Henry Shults to work on a piece of property on Timberland Ridge in the Del Rio area. Crapps stated that she paid Shults $15,323.00 for building materials and he has never shown up for work on the property. Crapps e-mailed the sheriff’s department paperwork showing the proposal for the job and also a bank transfer where she paid him for the material. Crapps said that Shults has sent her pictures of work being done on her property. She claims the pictures are fraudulent as a neighbor has told her that nothing has been done to the property and Shults has not been there working. At the time of the report being filed, police have not contacted Shults.
