Car Thefts In Morristown

A rash of car thefts in Morristown has led police to issue a plea to residents to lock their vehicles…to not leave their vehicles running unattended. Since April 26, 10 vehicles have been stolen in Morristown…and the one similarity in all those thefts, the keys had been left in the car. The latest theft happened to a man yesterday who went into a convenience store. he left his car running while he went inside and when he came out a short time later, he got outside in time to watch his car being driven out of the parking lot by someone else.
