Catalytic Converter Stolen In Broad Daylight

A Woman had the catalytic converter stolen off her vehicle in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened while the 60 year old woman was at the Healthstar Physicians office in the Newport Town Plaza area on Cosby Hwy. While in for a doctor’s appointment between 10:45 am and 12:30 pm, someone took the catalytic converter from her 2007 Ford Escape. Estimates to replace that part…around $800.
