CCSO and TBI Investigating Two Bodies Found In Cosby
The Cocke County Sheriff’s office and the TBI are investigating the discovery of two bodies that were found Sunday morning. According to Cocke County Sheriff CJ Ball, the two bodies were found in a vehicle along Hollow Road in Cosby on Sunday morning. Their bodies have been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death and for identification purposes as the bodies were too decomposed to properly identify on scene.
As of now the bodies are believed to be those of two missing firefighters from Georgia. The two have been missing out of Hinesville, Georgia since last Tuesday, June 25 and were last seen in the Cosby area. Liberty County, Georgia police are saying that Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander have been found deceased.
Sheriff CJ Ball says no further information is being released pending the positive identification of the individuals and that this is an ongoing investigation.
