CCSO Graduates 2nd JCAP Class
Over the weekend, The Cocke County Sheriff’s department graduated their 2nd class from the JCAP program. JCAP is a rehab program that begins in the jail. The 90 day program consists of daily workouts, classes and counseling sessions. There are daily inspections, drug screens and no tolerance for any drug use. The 2nd graduating class consisted of 9 men. All nine were given a certificate of completion for the course. The sheriff’s department says that the goal of JCAP, which stands for jail chemical addiction program, is to lower the rate of recidivism that happens with drug offenders. Congratulations to all nine who graduated over the weekend.
