CCSO Has Possible ID On Body Found In Del Rio

The Cocke County Sheriff’s has a possible identification on that body found in Del Rio nearly a week ago. A woman’s body was found 15 feet down an embankment on Punkton Road in Del Rio last Friday afternoon. The body is that of an adult female that is 5′ 4″ tall and weighs 110 pounds. The body had several identifying tattoos. A tattoo of 3 birds were on the woman’s chest. There were also tattoos on both upper arms. The left arm had “Aspen” and the right arm had “Capri” tattooed onto the upper arm. The woman was wearing a gray Nike T-Shirt and black Under Armour sweatpants.

The sheriff’s office is waiting on confirmation from the Knoxville Forensics Center and also notification of next of kin before releasing the name of the woman found to the public. We will keep you up to date on this story.
