CCSO Looking for Stolen Camper And Firearms
The Cocke County Sheriff’s office is looking for the person who stole a camping trailer and two firearms. The theft happened at a home on Bluff road. The sheriff’s office says that 28 year old Jacob Curtis told a deputy that he returned to his home on Monday morning after leaving Sunday evening. Upon his return he found his 31ft Dutchman pull behind camper was gone. The camper was not in livable condition and was heavily damaged, white with blue accent coloring. Two weapons had also been stolen. Those include a SCCY 9mm handgun and a CVA Optima 50 caliber muzzleloader rifle that was camouflage colored. Curtis told the deputy that he suspects his ex-girlfriend, but no arrest has been made.
