CCSO Seeking Help To Identify Armed Robbery Suspect

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office along with East Tennessee Crime Stoppers are looking for your help in identifying the person who robbed a business in Del Rio Monday night. The sheriff’s office says a suspect walked into The Slab on Hwy 25/70 in Del Rio and pulled a silver pistol out and demanded cash from the store’s clerk. The suspect got away with $200 in cash before exiting the business and leaving in a nearby vehicle. A camera from a neighbor’s security system was able to catch the location of where the vehicle was parked and investigators found an empty 1911 Candy Corn Hard Cider can and a half smoked cigarette at that site. Both were collected as evidence by investigators. The suspect was wearing dark color pants, a blue hoodie, and had his face covered by camouflage material. A picture of the suspect can be found on the Facebook pages of both East Tennessee Crime Stoppers and the Cocke County Sheriff’s office.
