CCSO Still Searching For Suspect In Trailer Theft

Investigators with the Cocke County Sheriff’s department are still looking for a man suspected of stealing a trailer from an Old Parrottsville Highway address last weekend. That trailer contained over $11,000 worth of lawn care equipment that owner Jerry Doan uses for his business. Doan says he left his home Saturday evening and returned later to find the trailer gone. Missing along with the 6 x 12 foot trailer was a Toro Titan Max zero turn mower, 2 Stihl weedeaters, a Stihl leaf blower and a Stihl chainsaw. Security camera footage did catch a picture of the suspect, a bald man with a neck tattoo. You can see a picture of that suspect on the Cocke County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page.
