CCSO Takes Down Drug House In Parrottsville
September continues to be a busy month for Cocke County law enforcement. There have been two murders in less then two weeks in the county and on Wednesday, the Cocke County Sheriff’s office shut down a home that was evidently a hub of drug activity. Sheriff’s officers, plus the TBI, Postal Service Law Enforcement, and Federal Homeland Security Officers served a narcotics search warrant on a home on North Ridge Drive in Parrottsville. The warrant was the result of a lenghty investigation into illegal narcotics distribution in the area. At that Parrottsville home, officers arrested 29 year old Jeremy Ramsey. He faces numerous drug charges including sale, manufacture and delivery of illegal narcotics. He also is facing a weapons charge. At that residence, officers seized drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, suspected fentanyl, and several scheduled pills. Also seized in that raid were 5 firearms…a shotgun, rifle and three handguns. Also seized from that home was $17,100 in cash.
