Christmas Parade Date Announced

Here Comes Santa Claus…The Cocke County Partnership/Chamber of Commerce has announced the date for the Annual Newport Christmas Parade. The parade will be on Saturday December 11th at 3pm. The parade will follow the normal route….starting at Debbie’s Drive-In then traveling eastbound on Broadway through downtown and ending at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. Applications to participate in the parade are available on their partnership’s website to print out. Hard copies are will also be available on the stairs outside the double doors at Walters State Newport Campus on Mulberry Street across from CVS. Deadline to submit applications is Friday, December 3rd.
