Civil Service Testing Announced

The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office is looking for you…but in a good way. The Cocke County Civil Service Board has announced that they are looking to fill many positions within the sheriff’s office. These positions include patrol officers, school resource officers, corrections officers and bailiff. Applications can be picked up at the Sheriff’s office. Those applications need to be turned in by June 11th to 111 Court Ave. in Newport. Once applications have been received the Sheriff’s office will schedule appointments for Civil Service and Agility Testing.
