Closed Conagra Plant May See Official Offers Soon

The Conagra plant had been closed since December. In the 2 months since it closed its doors, there have been 16 parties interested in moving into that facility come in for a visit. The plant is not completely vacant yet as there is still some equipment to be moved out. That update was given last week during the Cocke County Economic Development Commission’s meeting. According to the EDC Director Lucas Graham, there could be official offers to move into that facility within the next couple weeks.
