Cocke Co. Basketball Coach Arrested
The coach for Cocke County’s basketball team was arrested Wednesday night regarding a domestic dispute. Police were called to a home late Wednesday night and were let in by a family member. In that home they found coach Christopher Mintz and basketball assistant Erin Moore arguing. The two were reportedly arguing about ending their relationship. During that argument, Mintz reportedly choked Moore and slammed her to the floor. She struck him with a curtain rod that had been ripped off the wall. Police were not able to determine the primary aggessor, so both Mintz and Moore were arrested and were being held on $7500 bonds. The Cocke County Board of Education is currently investigating that incident.
