Cocke Co. Partnership Scarecrow Voting Begins Tuesday

Now that the Newport Harvest Street Festival is in the books, the Cocke County Partnership now is thinking about…scarecrows. The second annual “Scarecrows Across Cocke County” contest is underway. The deadline to submit photos of scarecrow displays was last Friday. Voting for the best displays begins tomorrow, October 4th and will end on Halloween, October 31st. The winners will be announced on Friday, November 4th. Winners receive gift cards, plus bragging rights. You can cast your vote for the best scarecrows on the Cocke County Partnership’s Facebook page.
