Cocke Co. Sherriff’s Department Hands Out Awards

Monday night the Cocke County Sheriff’s office recognized their own, handing out some hardware at their Christmas party. Sgt. Joshua Boyce was named officer of the year…Supervising officer of the year was Lt. Wes Keys…rookie officer of the year was Deputy Alison Brooks…Victoria Stokely was Dispatcher of the year…Corrections officer of the year…Gavin Valentine and supervising corrections officer was Mark Keiser.

The winners of those awards were tabulated from ballots cast by sheriff’s department employees.
