Cocke County Attorney Charged With Public Intoxication

A local Cocke County attorney is in trouble again, this time for showing up at the Cocke County Jail Annex in Jefferson County, intoxicated. Charlotte Leibrock went to the facility in Dandridge to speak with a client, but jail staff say they watched Leibrock be unsteady on her feet and fall into a wall. A Dandridge Police officer was called to the scene and he observed Leibrock showing signs of being intoxicated. She was taken into custody and taken to the Jefferson County Justice Center. She was charged with Public Intoxication and is due in court November 20.

Charlotte Leibrock was given a public censure back in 2023 after she plead guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. In that case, Leibrock removed the ring doorbell from the home her client was renting without permission from the home’s owner, causing some property damage.
