Cocke County C5 Readies For Reading Festival For Kids
The Cocke County Cradle to Career Coalition, better known as C5 is getting set to host the annual Spring into Summer Kids’ Reading Festival. This year’s reading festival will be at the Cocke County High School football stadium. The festival is free and open to children of all ages, from infants to 18-year-olds. Those attending can take part in various activities, including a wide selection of books, creative craft projects, and fun games. There will be food for the event which is being provided by C5 partner, The Lavelle Law Firm.
Jennifer Hill of the C5 says that the purpose of the Spring Into Summer Kids’ Reading Festival is to combat the learning loss often experienced during summer and ignite children’s enthusiasm for reading.
