Cocke County EMA Director Wins Statewide Award

Cocke County’s Emergency Management Director is getting some statewide recognition. Cocke County EMA Director Joe Esway has received the 2024 Emergency Management Association of Tennessee Achievement Award. Joe Esway was presented that award this week during the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee’s annual conference in Murfreesboro.

According to EMAT’s website the award is reserved for those individuals who have made significant contributions in improving emergency management administrative or response activities and are credited with providing identifiable support for local and state government or industry disaster preparedness. Congratulations to Cocke County EMA Director Joe Esway in winning that ward this year.
