Cocke County Fire Responds To Car Fire

Cocke County fire units responded to a car fire at a residence on Tobey Hollow Road over the Memorial Day Weekend. The owner of the 2016 Chevy Equinox stated that he was in his home asleep when a neighbor called him stating there was a fire outside of his house. The vehicle had burn damage throughout the engine and the windshield was busted out as a result of the fire. Firefighters believe an electrical issue in the engine was the cause of the fire. There were no injuries reported.
