Cocke County Gas Prices Now North Of $3 A Gallon

The average gas prices in Tennessee continue to rise. In Cocke County we have now seen the average price rise above $3 a gallon. As of Wednesday morning the average price in Cocke County is $3.06 for regular. It’s not much better anywhere else….Sevier County is $3.05, Jefferson County is right at the $3 mark. Hamblen County is at $3.08. The only nearby county below $3 a gallon is Greene County at $2.99.

The lowest prices in Tennessee are in White County on the Cumberland Plateau at $2.94. The highest prices are in Pickett County with an average of $3.49. The average price in Tennessee for a gallon of regular now sits at $3.19, so East Tennessee is still below the state average.

The US average is now north of $3.50 at $3.52 a gallon.

All state averages are above $3 a gallon for regular. Mississippi has the cheapest price with an average of $3.06. California leads the charge for the highest prices at $4.93. Of the other nearby states, Kentucky has the cheapest price at $3.22, Other nearby states prices:
