Cocke County Man Arrested On Drug Charges
A warrant for violation of probation turned into drug charges for a Cocke County man. Deputies were sent out to a residence on Valley Way to serve a warrant on 63 year old Roger Sigler. Sigler was spotted by law enforcement coming out of a camper behind the residence carrying a box. Inside the box were bags of marijuana. Sigler gave deputies permission to enter the camper where they found two bags of suspected marijuana, a clear baggie with several empty baggies inside it, two glass containers with suspected morphine and one brown glass container with suspected diazepam. Sigler now faces charges of sale, manufacture, delivery or possession of illegal drugs; and counts of possession of schedule II, IV and VI narcotics. The total weight of the marijuana seized was 13.75 ounces.
