Cocke County Sheriff’s Office Has Three New Deputies
Cocke County has three new deputies. The sheriff’s office is congratulating three officers who have now completed training at the Walters State East Tennessee Regional Law Enforcement Academy. That 500 hours of training which goes from 5:30am-10:30 pm each day for 9 weeks, teaching them law, firearms training, advanced driving, defensive tactics, community policing…plus there is also physical conditioning as well. The new deputies are Katy Spann, Miranda Williams and Steven Hancock who was given the Sheriff Award during the academy. So congratulations to all three.
