Cold Weather Captures Fugitive From Virginia
It was definitely cold over the weekend as we had got down to about 2 above Saturday night and failed to get above the freezing mark on Sunday. If you thought it was too cold to be outside, you weren’t alone. 39 year old Harold Milles of Concord, Virginia was a fugitive from justice who was wanted on a warrant in Portsmouth, Virginia. Milles had taken a bus to Knoxville. He then had gotten several rides and had wound up on Vinson Hollow Road in the Bybee area. He called the Cocke County Sheriff’s department around 2:30am Sunday morning and said he wanted to surrender. It was too cold to be outside.
