Commodities Distribution May 23 In Cocke County

The Douglas-Cherokee Economic Authority has announced the nex date for commodities distribution in Cocke County. This is a different food distribution than the ones that have been held at the Cocke County Fairgrounds recently. This is the commodities distribution for low income residents. The date is Tuesday, May 23 at 9am-noon or until all supplies have been exhausted. This will be at the National Guard Armory off of Cosby Hwy south of Newport. This is a drive-thru service only, so you should not leave your vehicle or park and you will need to stay in a single file line to the left of the Armory building. Eligibility for this distribution is based on income, so you will need to know your total household income plus bring proof of Cocke County residency.
