Cosby Man Injured In Single Vehicle Crash

A one vehicle crash in Cosby Sunday afternoon resulted in minor injuries to a man from Cosby. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 59 year old Douglas Keith Stuart of Cosby was driving his 1997 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Cosby Hwy near the Foothills Parkway when he ran off the right side of the roadway, into a ditch then coming to rest when it struck a tree. Stuart was reported to have just minor injuries, but he has been charged with driving under the influence, violation of the implied consent law and failure to use due care. That crash happening around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
